Fantastic player but

Tried this with sd card and usb pen drive very easy to use and great quality playback. The only problem is build quality, the second time I used the usb port it disappeared into the unit. I thought this would be just a case of a retaining clip coming loose, so being of an engineering background rather than send the unit back I opened it to effect a speedy repair. I found that the usb port was soldered directly onto the printed circuit board and obviously very poorly. It was simple to repair as long as you have the gear and a little know how. Working great now but no doubt I have invalidated the warranty, perhaps I was just unlucky but the design will tend to put stress on soldered connections which is never a good thing.

great for the money

plays most stuff (not all my flvs or mkv or .mov files but most of them) subtitle control is great.. size/colour/font/sync v good..plays my avi/mp4/(most)mkv/ ..crashes quite a bit but i do throw a lot at it.. works with my 2tb hard drive no problem.all in all very good value super tiny portable quite rugged.. Would get another if it broke.
